

Fishing Partnership Health Plan
The MFP sponsors the Fishing Partnership Health Plan (FPHP) and
coordinates FPHP outreach, enrollment, and member services. The FPHP provides
affordable high quality comprehensive health care coverage for more than 2000
previously uninsured or chronically under-insured fishing people. This award
winning plan is being used as a national model for extending health care
coverage to fishermen and others across the nation.

The FPHP uses the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care network of physicians and
hospitals to provide quality coverage including the following benefits:
- Small co-payments with no co-insurance
- Office Visit

- Pharmaceutical benefits
- No restrictions or exclusions for pre-existing conditions
